ABOUT
MEET RACHEL
Rachel, a native Kentuckian, has been a professional Key West wedding photographer for nearly 18 years.
The passion for the art and business of photography began while she was a student at Northern Kentucky University where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Photography. Through her undergraduate studies, she traveled abroad and captured images and faces all over the world. This is where her photography style emerged...Capturing people in their environment in a very natural way.
Education, dedication, and passion are what sets her work apart from all the rest. She photographs from the heart. She takes time to get to know her clients personally via phone calls and meetings prior to the Big Day. Ultimately creating the natural moments every client desires when hiring a professional.
Her photography style is a balance of a traditional approach with an artistic vision. Key West is a magical place to say your "I Do's" and to share special moments. The goal for Rachel is to provide you and your family with vibrant true to life island images you will cherish for a lifetime!
MEET MARK FUNKHOUSER
Originally from Ohio, Mark combined his love of hiking, backpacking and other types of adventure travel with photography to capture photos of nature and all settings of outdoor scenes. His photography evolved when he began photographing family members and friends for senior and family portraits. He discovered his passion for capturing photos of not just the people, but also their energy, mood, emotion and vibe, especially when they were candidly and naturally interacting with each other.
During his first visit to Key West in 1998, he fell in love with the island and was determined to eventually call Key West home. After 23 more years and many visits, he finally made the move in late 2021. Since moving to Key West, he has enjoyed photographing couples, families and weddings in beautiful tropical island locations. Capturing authentic, emotional and genuinely happy moments between people is what continues to drive his pursuit of photography.
