Brittany + Jason - Carters Get Married in the Keys
Jason and Brittany met playing kickball in Key West six years ago. After an exciting few years of adventures and fun, including a move to Texas, the two got engaged! Jason spent the week leading up to the proposal doing intentionally sweet and thoughtful things for Brittany. The actual proposal came the evening of February 19, 2016 at a park in Austin. With the city skyline in the background, Jason proposed and Brittany, of course, said yes!
The adventurous couple loves to travel and missed the island vibe, so a Key West wedding was planned for September of 2017. However, Hurricane Irma had other plans and the wedding was rescheduled for April 7th, 2018. It took place at the beautiful Southernmost House, which Jason use to manage when he lived here. The two said their I Do's with crashing waves and a slight breeze oceanside in front of their closet friends and family. The reception decor was very Key West- colorful, elegant, and a lot of fun! Just Save the Date and Love in Bloom helped execute a beautiful set up while Nick Norman serenaded the guests. Catered Affairs rocked the menu as many wedding traditions were kept including the bouquet toss and cake cutting. After the reception the Conch Tour Train took everyone down to Duval Street where they all partied the night away! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Carter! .
