Ally & Cody: Fun Beach Wedding in Key West
Ally Shaw and Cody Polifka lived in the same dorm at Georgia Southern; Cody always caught Ally's attention when passing in the halls. Ironically, the first time her and her roommate saw Cody, the roommate called dibs! A mutual friend invited Ally to a party, and as it turns out, it was in Cody's dorm room. They hit it off instantaneously, and spent the entire night laughing. A few weeks later, Cody invited Ally to his lacrosse game. He played like a champ and certainly put the icing on the cake that night!
Shortly after that game, they made a Superbowl bet that the winner would have to pay for a night of dinner and drinks. They both still seem to think they won, but in reality they did when they became a couple. After dating for a while, Cody took Ally to the most beautiful place she had ever been. They spent the day sailing around St. Thomas and then he took her to dinner at the top of the island. They made it through dinner and while walking back to the car, he stopped to "enjoy the view." She was reaching in for their leftover brussel sprouts, and when she turned around he was on one knee. She had terrible timing and a hand full of brussels sprouts, but she says she would not have wanted it any other way.
They decided to become the new Mr and Mrs on the beautiful island of Key West, Florida. They exchanged vows oceanside and enjoyed one heck of a party with some amazing live music. They ate, they celebrated, and they danced the night away!
