Grant and Mallory’s Hemingway Home Wedding
In June of 2018, Mallory Goodbar and Grant Kaffenbarger were both Camp Counselors at 4-H Camp in Clifton. One day during the camp, both counselors were playing a game with their campers and crossed paths playing with color dye. It was pretty much love and first sight and the two eventually became sweethearts.
Two years later on September 10, 2020 Grant led Mallory to believe that they were going out to dinner. As they were on their way to the restaurant, he said he had something he wanted to show her that he had done at 4-H Camp. She totally was game to see what he had been working on. They proceeded to drive to camp and park the car, Mallory not suspecting anything unusual. Mallory and Grant walked along the trail and Grant lead her to the exact spot they met! On the ground was a circle of color dye that read "Will You Marry Me." Grant got on one knee and proposed! He even hired a photographer to capture the moment!
The couple both decided Key West was the perfect place to become the new Mr & Mrs. Kaffenbarger. After an exchange of vows at the historic Hemingway Home, guests were swept away to the famous Duval Street to the Bagatelle for a roof top reception. What a perfect wedding day!
Congratulations to you and your families!
