Kristin & Tyler Oceanside Key West Wedding

Kristin Kappler and Tyler Hardy met through a group of mutual friends and began hanging out together. Tyler and Kristin immediately took to each other and quickly became roommates. They had so much fun together and shortly after living together, they began dating.

Tyler completely surprised her and proposed on Friday, February 12th. They were hoping to go on a small trip for Valentine's weekend; However, there was an intense ice storm forecasted in Mississippi which was highly unusual, so they held off planning anything not knowing if she would be called into work at the hospital. When Kristin got home from work on that Friday evening, Tyler was cooking (not unusual - he is an excellent cook and comes from a family line of chefs). He said In lieu of our trip, he went and picked up all of my favorites and was going to cook for her all weekend. He was cooking steak, mushrooms, and spinach and even got some crab legs for Saturday night which are her absolute favorite food. There were roses, sea salt caramel chocolates, and a bottle of wine. It looked like the perfect weekend. Tyler was in the middle of cooking and she had barely got through the door when he got down on one knee. He said he couldn't stand to wait one more damn minute!

The two married oceanside at the gorgeous Opal Resort here in Key West!
