Lindsay & Mitchell : Key West Wedding

Lindsay Dantoni and Mitchell Benitez met in January of 2019 in the most common fashion on this island…at The Waterfront Brewery! Lindsay and her friend Jenna were supposed to hang out, but she was off somewhere having too much fun. Lindsay was able to use her skills and the Snapchat map, and eventually found her. It was a good thing she did because these two probably would not have crossed paths as they did. The plan was for everyone to meet up and go to the Full Moon Party. By chance, Jenna was with Mitchell and her phone was about to lose charge. This gave Mitchell the opportunity to pipe in and offer to take Lindsay’s number, and call her when they got to the the party. They eventually met up that night under the full moon, and well the the rest is what they say…history. They talked that night and never stopped talking!

Lindsay and Mitchell love cooking dinner and watching movies and shopping for stuff for their house. Since they first starting dating in Key West, they have since moved to Wilmington and started a beautiful life together.

The two were engaged on Lindsay’s birthday, on October 1st, on Bald Head Island in North Carolina. Mitchell planned a surprise birthday weekend trip for Lindsay. They drove to downtown Wilmington, and hopped on the ferry over to the island. After a quick check in, they got on the golf cart and decided to take a ride around the island. Mitchell knows that she loves to walk through the woods so they stopped off for a mini hike. Unknown to her when he was behind her on the walk, she turned around to check to see what was up and Mitchell was on one knee! Of course she said YES! Mitchell brought a private yacht that he manages to the island the day before so he could drive them home on it on Sunday morning. What a an amazing proposal!

It was only natural for them to return to Key West for their wedding! The couple was married in the lush garden at the Truman Little White House. They exchanged vows and partied the night away only as Key Westers know how to do!
